Black Irish

Cole McKay (Michael Angarano) is a teenager struggling to be a successful baseball pitcher despite being held down by his dysfunctional family. His father (Brendan Gleeson) is an alcoholic; his brother (Tom Guiry) is a drug addict and a thief; and his pregnant, unwed sister (Emily VanCamp) is being sent away to give birth in shame. In the end, Cole is forced to decide between sticking by his family and going on to play in the state championships.
